When I took a hiatus from the podcast to focus on family, I had more time to work on my art and jewelry. I created a method of preserving insects and making them durable enough for wear. The pendant you see here is made from a real cicada, adorned with a gem I made from opal chips.
With my podcast, I search for treasures and truth among stories many have forgotten. With my art, I search for beauty in the unexpected, and in the parts of life many tend to underestimate--the detail in a pine cone, the curve of a beetle's wing, the sparkle of a spider web.

My goal is to change the way people view the world, through my art and through my writing. There are too many stories untold, too many voices silenced, too many perspectives ignored. There is a wealth of truth and beauty waiting to be uncovered, and I cannot wait to explore it.
